Third ventriculostomy - step 2
Inserting the camera into the third ventricle, looking through the hole in the floor of the third ventricle. seeing the basilar artery and some arachnoid bands in the basal cisterns. Dilating the ostomy just a little bit.
Endoscopic third ventriculostomy -step 1
Inserting the camera into the third ventricle, looking at the floor of the third ventricle. Creating a hole in the floor of the third ventricle. This allows cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to pass through, from the third ventricle into the bsasal cisterns.
